Naza Saab is an Indian singer and music composer known for his soulful vocals and contribution to Sufi and Qawwali music. Born on August 11, 1987, in Mumbai, he is the son of renowned Qawwali singer Aziz Naza. Inspired by his father's musical legacy, Naza Saab has developed his own style by blending traditional Qawwali influences with contemporary sounds.

His musical journey began at a very young age, and he reportedly won his first singing competition at just three years old. Following his father's passing in 1992, he continued exploring music through his father's recordings and the musical traditions he had inherited. He trained in Indian classical music under Ustad Afzal Khan of the Rampur Gharana and Ustad Abdul Karim Khan. By the age of 12, he had recorded his first music cassette, marking an early milestone in his career.

Naza Saab's Musical Journey and Bollywood Songs

Throughout his career, Naza Saab has explored traditional Qawwali, Bollywood music, and contemporary fusion. His Bollywood work includes songs such as “Aayat” and “Deewani Mastani” from Bajirao Mastani and “Ek Dil Ek Jaan” from Padmaavat. His rendition of the classic Qawwali “Chadhta Sooraj Dheere Dheere” was featured in Indu Sarkar. Alongside singing, he has also worked as a music director for the film Sniff.

One of the distinctive aspects of Naza Saab's musical approach is his interest in introducing traditional Sufi and Qawwali music to modern audiences. Through contemporary arrangements and fusion influences, he explores new musical expressions while staying connected to the genre's rich heritage. He is also skilled at playing instruments such as the harmonium, piano, and tabla, along with other percussion instruments.
