The Yellow Diary was started off by Rajan and Himonshu. Rajan Batra (originally from New Delhi) followed his passion to become a musician and came to Mumbai to pursue it professionally. Since then, he has accomplished quite a bit in the independent scene already. He has released several songs in collaboration with other artists and winning the award for “Best Debut Single” at Artist Aloud Music Awards in 2015. On the other hand, Himonshu Parikh (based out of Mumbai) is a music producer and composer who is working independently and with various Bollywood artists. Himonshu and Rajan met through common friends and formed The Yellow Diary - a project where they intend to make soulful music with a fresh experimental approach. Himonshu roped in his friend Vaibhav Pani (based out of Mumbai) who had played for quite a few bands in the past and independently as well. Book Rock band for Corporate and College Events | Hire The Yellow Diary Band for live shows.

Then came Sahil Shah on drums who has played with Himonshu previously. Sahil has played with numerous artistes like Raghav Sachar, Louis Banks, Lesile Lewis to name a few. He roped in Stuart DaCosta (ex-Something Relevant). He also plays for the Mumbai based electronic act, Nicholson. With Stuart coming in, the band has a complete lineup and is all set to release new material and play live.
