Faheem Abdullah is a multidisciplinary artist from Srinagar who began his creative journey as a self?taught filmmaker and singer?songwriter. After moving from studies into filmmaking in 2019—working as an assistant on ad films with directors including Kabir Khan—he released his debut single “Jhelum” in late 2020; the track was later featured in the BBC World documentary “Hear My Voice.” His soulful follow?up single “Judayi” was broadcast on BBC Asian Network in 2021.

In 2024 Faheem released his debut album LOST; FOUND, a 14?track record that traces a path from feeling lost to self?discovery. Standout songs such as “Ishq,” “Sajde,” and “Chak Chuk Blues” found global audiences—“Ishq” alone has surpassed 25 million views on YouTube and charted on Spotify and Apple Music playlists. Critics have lauded his genre?neutral, poetic songwriting and deep emotional resonance, naming him a defining voice of a new generation.

In July 2025 Faheem partnered with Bhushan Kumar’s T?Series, and his first release with the label, “Bichadna,” is set for August 4, marking a move from indie acclaim toward mainstream collaboration. Rooted in Kashmiri soundscapes and driven by a fearless artistic vision, Faheem Abdullah brings authenticity, regional richness, and inventive musicality to every project and performance.
