KVS Tabla is the professional stage name of award-winning tabla artist, composer, and live performer Sid Komaragiri. Renowned for blending the rich traditions of Indian classical tabla with contemporary genres such as EDM, hip-hop, pop, and world music, KVS Tabla has emerged as one of the most exciting percussion artists of his generation. His performances combine technical brilliance, rhythmic precision, and modern production, creating a unique musical experience that resonates with audiences around the world.

Raised in Maryland, USA, to parents from Hyderabad, India, KVS Tabla began learning the tabla at an early age. His extraordinary talent was recognized during childhood, leading him to train under renowned tabla maestro Pandit Samir Chatterjee. Under his guru's guidance, he mastered not only the technical aspects of the instrument but also the mathematics, language, and spiritual philosophy that form the foundation of Indian classical percussion.

In 2021, KVS Tabla launched his digital music journey by sharing creative tabla performances across social media, quickly attracting millions of viewers worldwide. His growing popularity led to performances at luxury weddings, corporate events, international music festivals, cultural celebrations, and private events across more than 15 countries. Today, he is recognized for bringing the timeless sound of the tabla to modern global audiences.

Career highlights include opening for internationally acclaimed artist Jay Sean at the Times Square Diwali Celebration in New York, performing at Cartier's Diwali celebration, making three consecutive appearances at New York Fashion Week, and headlining a sold-out show at the iconic SOB's NYC. In 2025, he successfully completed his first U.S. tour, further strengthening his reputation as a global live performer.

Beyond live performances, KVS Tabla is also a composer and creative storyteller. His independently produced short film "Rasa", inspired by the percussion traditions of South Asia, blends cinematic visuals with electronic music and tabla. The film premiered at the Tasveer Film Festival in Vancouver in 2025, showcasing his innovative vision of connecting Indian classical rhythm with contemporary music.
