Soumee Sailesh, born in India as Samhita Debnath, is a talented Indian playback singer known for her soulful Bollywood, Spiritual, and Sufi performances. Born into a middle-class family to Sailesh Chandra Debnath and Supta Debnath, Soumee discovered her passion for music at a very young age and turned her dream into a successful musical journey.

Soumee aspired to become a playback singer from early childhood. She began learning music at the age of six and later started formal training in light and filmy music at the age of fifteen. Soon after, director Sandeep Kumar recognized her exceptional talent and gave her an opportunity to sing in the film Pagal Kar Diya Toone. She officially made her Bollywood playback singing debut in 2018 and has continued to impress audiences with her versatile vocal performances.
